Carmax Explorations Ltd. (CMX-TSX.V) is a mineral exploration and development company headquartered in Vancouver B.C., Canada. The company is currently exploring two projects: the Eaglehead in the prolific Quesnel trough in Northwestern B.C. and the Whiskeyjack on the Cadillac Larder Lake break near Matachewan in Northern Ontario. During April/May, 2007 the Company raised gross proceeds of $2,716,500.00 less expenses, the majority of which will be directed towards the Eaglehead Property on which previous drilling totalling 69 drill holes indicates that it has the potential to host a large copper-molybdenum-gold-silver porphyry deposit. In the 2007 exploration season the company will actively continue work on the Eaglehead towards developing a 43-101 compliant resource. Presently the project has indications of 6 zones over a distance of 7 km which are conceptually estimated to contain 60 million combined tonnes grading greater than 0.42 % Cu with Mo, Ag and Au credits. Exploration work including diamond drilling will also be conducted on the eastern part of the property where previous geochemical samples showed elevated nickel, gold, platinum, palladium and copper values. This area is located only 4-5 km from the Carmax/Hard Creek Nickel boundary, with their "HorseTrail Zone" being 4 km from this boundary. |
